Role Description This is a full time, on-site Autocad Drafter role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area.

The Autocad

Drafter will prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for process equipment, layouts, and structures, following engineering specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities include creating and updating general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and piping layouts,



as well as preparing shop drawings for manufacturing and installation. The role involves coordinating with design engineers and project teams to clarify requirements, incorporate design changes, and ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.

The Autocad

Drafter will also maintain drawing records, support documentation for project execution, and assist in standardizing drawing templates and drafting practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for industrial equipment and plant layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing Shop Drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation activities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), with experience in mechanical or process equipment drafting.
- ITI, Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, P&IDs;, and specifications, and convert them into clear CAD documentation.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in dimensioning, and familiarity with relevant drafting standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Experience in process equipment, plant engineering, or industrial projects is an advantage.
