Role Description The Autocad Designer at GAPPU will create and refine detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for musical instruments, workshop layouts, and related structures, ensuring designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements. This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Kolkata Area involves collaborating with product designers, engineers, and production teams to translate concepts into accurate technical drawings and construction details. Day-to-day responsibilities include updating drawings based on feedback, supporting space planning and workflow optimization in the workshop,



and maintaining organized documentation of all design files.

The Autocad

Designer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate design considerations clearly, and ensure that all drawings align with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for workshop and facility layouts.
- Candidates should possess solid Drawing and Space Planning skills to support instrument design and productive use of production areas.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with design, production, and leadership teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and basic knowledge of design standards and manufacturing processes.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret concepts and convert them into clear technical drawings, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, workshop, or product design environment will be an advantage.
