Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Skilled AutoCAD software training certificate

Minimum 5 years' experience in a reputed Metal Products Manufacturing company on a similar scale of work.

Will be responsible for design of new products starting from conceptual stage to creating the prototype design of all new products within the company related to laboratory furniture, playground equipment and other miscellaneous metal products.

Give emphasis to continuous focus on fine tuning the design of established products.

Coordinate closely with the engineering department supervisor in establishing the final blueprints of approved protypes for future manufacturing.

Skills and Training Requirements





The candidate must have a sound command over Mechanical Engineering Drawings (Isometric View, 3D Views[Plan-Side-.Elevation], 2D & 3D skills).

Must have fabrication process understanding related to sheet metal products and other steel products manufacturing.

Must be able to identify machine capabilities and capacities in the factory such as laser cutting, shearing, bending, punching (limitations of machinery available in the factory) to be able to better design the products.

Be familiar with the standards of the most commercially used steel material forms such as sheets, angles, channels, I beam etc.
