We are looking for a skilled Tensile Fabric Pattern Draftsman responsible for preparing accurate membrane cutting patterns, panel layouts and production drawings for tensile membrane structures.
The candidate will convert approved 3D membrane geometry into 2D fabric patterns suitable for cutting and HF welding, Please note Proper training will be provide to person..
Fabric Pattern Development
- Develop accurate 2D membrane cutting patterns from approved tensile structure designs.
- Convert 3D membrane geometry into production-ready fabric panels.
- Prepare panel layouts according to available fabric roll width.
- Apply appropriate fabric compensation / shrinkage factors as specified by the design engineer.
- Provide correct seam and welding allowances.
- Ensure correct warp and weft orientation of membrane fabric.
- Number and identify individual membrane panels for production
