Role Description The Australia Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. The role involves counseling prospective students and clients on study, immigration, and visa options in Australia, including course selection, university choices, and documentation requirements. The counselor will conduct detailed consultations, assess client profiles, and provide accurate information on eligibility, processes, timelines, and costs.

Daily responsibilities include managing inquiries, maintaining updated client records, coordinating with internal teams, and following up with clients throughout their application journey. The role also includes participating in promotional activities, information sessions,



and maintaining current knowledge of Australian education and immigration policies.

Qualifications

- Solid counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand client needs and provide clear, accurate guidance on Australian education and immigration pathways.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), with the ability to explain complex processes in a simple, professional manner; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, including responsiveness, empathy, and the ability to build trust and long-term client engagement.
- Organizational and documentation skills, including attention to detail, record-keeping, and handling application forms and supporting documents accurately.
- Ability to learn and stay updated on Australian universities, courses, visa categories, and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge in daily counseling work.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, CRM or similar tools) for managing leads, client data, and follow-ups.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; education, counseling, or related fields preferred.
- Prior experience in overseas education counseling, especially for Australia, is highly beneficial but motivated candidates with relevant skills will be considered.
