Auditor – CA Firm

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Auditor to join our CA firm in Dalhousie, Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in statutory audits, tax audits, accounting, and audit documentation, preferably from a CA firm background.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct statutory, tax, internal, and other financial audits as required.
- Review books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, bank statements, and financial records.
- Prepare and verify audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparation/review of financial statements and audit reports.
- Perform vouching, verification, reconciliations, and analytical review.
- Handle audit assignments independently and coordinate with clients.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, control weaknesses, and compliance issues.
- Assist with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance work where required.
- Communicate audit observations and required corrections to clients.
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Requirements
- 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a CA firm.
- Strong practical knowledge of auditing and accounting.
- Experience with Statutory Audit / Tax Audit is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Income Tax, GST and TDS.




- Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Ability to independently handle client assignments.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/qualified CA or equivalent relevant qualification preferred.

Ideal Candidate We are particularly looking for candidates who:
- Have worked in a CA firm, not only in an industry accounting role.
- Have personally handled audit assignments rather than only doing data-entry/accounting work.
- Can independently communicate with clients and close audit queries.
- Are comfortable with deadlines and multiple assignments.

Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000/month, depending on relevant experience and interview performance. Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
