: Audio & Visual Designer **Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Gudivada, AndhraPradesh** Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: EST 6.30PM 3.30AM Overview We are looking for an experienced Audio & Visual Designer with 3+ years of experience in AV system design, documentation, and engineering. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of microphones, AV components, Crestron, Q-SYS, AutoCAD, EST hours estimation, and BOM preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Audio & Visual (AV) systems based on project requirements.
- Prepare AV system drawings, layouts, schematics, and detailed design documentation using AutoCAD.
- Design and configure AV solutions involving:
- Microphones and audio systems
- Speakers and amplifiers
- Displays and projectors
- Video conferencing systems
- Control systems
- Signal distribution and processing
- DSP and other AV components
- Work with Crestron and Q-SYS platforms for AV control and system integration.
- Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Select appropriate AV components based on performance requirements and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), including equipment, accessories, cables, connectors, and installation materials.
- Develop accurate EST (estimated) hours for engineering, programming, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with project managers,



engineers, procurement teams, and installation teams.
- Review vendor/product specifications and ensure equipment compatibility.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, submittals, and documentation.
- Perform design reviews and identify potential technical or coordination issues before implementation.
- Support the project team during installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and update drawings based on design changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Audio Visual Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in AV system design and engineering.
- Robust knowledge of AV components and system architecture.
- Experience with microphone systems and audio signal flow.
- Working knowledge of Crestron and Q-SYS.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for AV drawings and layouts.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and reflected ceiling plans.
- Experience creating BOMs and equipment schedules.
- Ability to estimate engineering/installation hours (EST hours).
- Good understanding of AV cabling, connectivity, signal flow, and equipment racks.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
