Post : Asst. Sales Manager Automotive

Location : Delhi NCR

Experience : 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with Automotive Tier-1 customers

Qualification : Graduate / B.Tech / MBA

Salary : 8 LPA with benefits The ideal candidate should be commercially driven, comfortable working with demanding sales targets, and capable of maintaining strong and regular engagement with customers to grow existing business as well as develop new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow business with assigned Automotive Tier-1 customers.
- Maintain regular and proactive contact with customers across Purchase, R&D;, Quality, Development and other relevant functions.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new grades, applications, projects and business opportunities with existing customers.
- Develop new Automotive Tier-1 accounts within the assigned territory.
- Closely follow up on RFQs, quotations, trials, approvals and commercial negotiations to convert opportunities into regular business.
- Prepare customer-wise and grade-wise sales forecasts and ensure achievement against the agreed business plan.
- Coordinate internally with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D; and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely deliveries and strong customer service.
- Monitor customer schedules and consumption patterns to avoid supply gaps or loss of business.
- Take ownership of outstanding payments and collections and ensure adherence to agreed credit terms.
- Regularly review customer profitability, pricing and business potential.
- Understand competitor activity,



market developments and emerging opportunities within the Automotive sector.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities and provide regular sales and project status updates to management.
- Develop strong long-term relationships with customers and become their first point of contact for commercial and business requirements.

Candidate Profile
- B2B sales experience, preferably with Automotive Tier-1 customers.
- Experience in plastics, polymers, engineering plastics, polypropylene compounds, masterbatches, or other automotive raw materials/components will be preferred.
- Existing relationships with Automotive Tier-1 customers will be a robust advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing collections.
- Strong follow-up and account-management skills.
- Commercially aware with good negotiation and communication abilities.
- Comfortable travelling frequently and meeting customers on a regular basis.
- Self-driven, disciplined and capable of taking complete ownership of assigned accounts.
- Ability to work closely with technical and manufacturing teams for development of new business.
