Job Purpose

- Leading the team to meet organizational goals

Key Tasks &

- Responsibilities

- Achieve defined performance targets including First Time Right (FTR), On-Time Delivery (OTD), and productivity

- Plan, allocate, and monitor engineering tasks to ensure optimal utilization of resources

- Perform quality checks and reviews for all critical engineering deliverables

- Plan and drive training and competency development initiatives for team members

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and environmental regulations across design and manufacturing activities

- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Calculation teams to support new product development and improve order intake

- Support Current Sales and After-Sales activities including customer acquisition, footprint replacement, retrofits, and refurbishments

- Promote a process-oriented way of working by developing and maintaining guidelines, processes, and procedures based on lessons learned

Experience &

Skills (Essential)

- 14–16 years of experience in turbomachinery or rotating equipment in industrial engineering environments

- Hands-on experience with steam turbines (design, analysis, troubleshooting, lifecycle support)

- Leadership of cross-functional teams of 10+ engineers

- Team building, mentoring, and coaching

- Ownership of training and competency development programs

- Design optimization and structured problem-solving to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency

Additional Technical Responsibilities

- Planning, assigning, and reviewing tasks to achieve OTD, FTR, and productivity targets

- Technical bid support for New Sales and After-Sales (retrofits, refurbishments, spares, reverse engineering)

- Lead product development initiatives and Cross-Functional Team reviews

- Engineering support for Vendor Development, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service

- Strong knowledge of metallurgy and material selection

- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation

- Application of engineering standards and best practices
