Job Overview

Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (1 to 4 Years Exp) proficient in SolidWorks or Creo to design sheet metal components, plastic enclosures, and general mechanical assemblies from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

- Design sheet metal parts, enclosures, brackets, plastics, and mechanical assemblies.
- Generate flat patterns and calculate Bend Allowance / K-Factor for fabrication.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize manufacturing costs and material usage.
- Create detailed 2D production drawings with GD&T; and manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Support prototype fabrication, testing, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years in Sheet Metal, Plastic, or Product Design.
- Software: SolidWorks or Creo / CATIA, AutoCAD.
- Skills: CAD Modeling, Flat Pattern, GD&T;, DFM/DFA, 2D Drafting, BOM.
