- Supervise store workmen, staff, assign tasks, and assist in training.
- Conduct regular physical counts, cycle counts, and reconcile with system records.
- 100% physical vs. record compliance, meticulous data entry.
- Ensure the store premises are clean, organized, and protected.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against purchase orders.
- Arrange storage in designated areas, ensuring proper identification (Lot No.).
- Issue materials to production/subcontractors
- Manage dispatch of Stock transfer material, verifying documentation and packaging.
- Maintain accurate store records (GRNs, stock registers, returns).
- Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and updatew ERP/software in real-time.
- Generate reports (consumption trends, stock status)
for management.
- Implement stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and prevent obsolescence.
- Liaise with Procurement for timely material replenishment and vendors for deliveries.
- Coordinate with Production for material requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality (ISO), and environmental standards (5S).
- Scrap management
- Manage tools, equipment, and returnable materials.
- Efficiency: Streamlined receiving, storage, and issuing processes.
- Cost Control: Minimizing stock loss, optimizing space, timely reordering.
- Safety: Strict adherence to handling guidelines for all materials, including hazardous ones.
