Job Details

Location: New Town,Kolkata, West Bengal.

Designation: Engineer - Desktop Support

Work Mode: Work from Office

Shift: Rotational Shifts (24x7 Support)

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
- Install and upgrade Microsoft Windows operating systems and related applications.
- Configure email clients, printers, and network connectivity.
- Provide support for user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office, browsers,



antivirus software, and business applications.
- Manage IT asset inventory and maintain equipment records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
- Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
- Log, track, and resolve tickets within defined SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and support.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Active Directory user administration.
- Experience in printer installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage multiple support requests effectively.
