Job Summary

We are looking for an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer to join our cybersecurity team and contribute to application security, vulnerability assessment, security automation, and DevSecOps initiatives.

This is an opportunity for candidates who are passionate about cybersecurity and want to build hands-on experience across Application Security, VAPT, DevSecOps, security testing, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform web application and API security testing to identify vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Support Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities and validate security findings.
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and documenting security vulnerabilities.
- Support SAST, DAST, dependency and security scanning activities.
- Integrate and maintain security checks within CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate repetitive security testing and reporting activities using scripting and security tools.
- Validate vulnerabilities and help reduce false positives through detailed analysis.
- Support regression testing to ensure previously identified vulnerabilities are properly remediated.
- Assist with security tool evaluations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and implementation.
- Prepare security reports and communicate findings to relevant technical teams.
- Work closely with Development, DevOps, Cloud, and other engineering teams to support secure software development practices.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

Key Skills




- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
- Basic understanding of Web and API security
- Knowledge of VAPT / Vulnerability Assessment
- Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD security
- Exposure to SAST, DAST and dependency scanning
- Knowledge of security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, Snyk, Nessus or similar tools
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
- Understanding of cloud and infrastructure security concepts is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive communication and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, Security+, eJPT, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Experience 01 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, VAPT, DevSecOps, or a related area.

Fresh graduates with relevant cybersecurity projects, internships, certifications, or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
