Role Description The Associate / Assistant Professor in Hospital Management will be responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in hospital and healthcare management in line with institutional and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures, seminars, and workshops, mentoring students, supervising projects and dissertations, and supporting curriculum development and review. The role also involves engaging in academic research, publishing in relevant journals, participating in conferences, and contributing to departmental initiatives and accreditation activities.

The faculty member will collaborate with industry partners for guest lectures, internships, and practical exposure, while actively participating in academic committees and campus events. This is a full time,



on-site role based at Bhawanipur Global Campus in Kolkata.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree (MBA, MHA, MHM, MPH, or equivalent) in Hospital Management, Healthcare Management, or a closely related field; PhD or evidence of doctoral progress is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, hospital operations, quality management, healthcare policy, and health economics, with the ability to teach core and elective courses in these areas.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, using student-centric, experiential, and technology-enabled learning methods.
- Active or emerging research profile with publications in peer-reviewed journals, and interest in contributing to funded projects and academic collaborations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student body and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, industry partners, and healthcare institutions for internships, projects, and guest sessions, and to contribute to curriculum development.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC) and university regulations, with readiness to support academic administration and quality assurance activities.
- Proficiency in digital tools for teaching, learning management systems, and basic data analysis relevant to healthcare and hospital management.
- Prior professional experience in hospital administration or healthcare management is highly desirable.
