Job Summary

BAFCO International Shipping & Logistics is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead and manage the inside sales team from our Bangalore back office. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and improving team performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Inside Sales Team.
- Generate new business through calls, emails, leads, and customer follow-ups.
- Handle B2B customers and develop strong business relationships.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Guide and motivate the sales team to improve conversions.
- Follow up on quotations and convert leads into business.
- Coordinate with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service teams.




- Maintain regular sales reports and update management on performance.
- Identify new business opportunities in shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Develop sales strategies to increase revenue and customer base.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or related industry.
- Previous experience managing an inside sales/telesales team.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of import/export, freight forwarding, and logistics services.
- Target-oriented with strong business development skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, CRM, and email communication.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
