Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Hubli-Dharwad, responsible for supporting and driving sales growth for Miven Mayfran’s chip conveyor and coolant filtration solutions. This role includes identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, preparing and presenting technical-commercial proposals, and coordinating product demonstrations and site visits.

The Assistant Sales

Manager collaborates closely with senior sales leaders, engineering, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions, ensure accurate quotations,



and follow through on order execution. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining a robust sales pipeline, tracking market trends and competitor activity, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and representing the company at industry events and customer meetings. The role requires regular interaction with customers in the metalworking, automotive, machine tool, and industrial automation sectors, with a focus on building long-term, value-driven relationships.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in B2B sales, account management, and business development within industrial or manufacturing solutions.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and contribute to sales strategies and planning.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or industrial engineering concepts, especially in conveyors, coolant systems, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital communication platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent in Marketing or Sales is an advantage.
- Prior experience in capital equipment, machine tools, material handling, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
