Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations, leading the F&B; team, and ensuring excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Supervise and guide F&B; associates during service.
- Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Conduct daily team briefings and allocate duties.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Ensure proper restaurant setup before service and closing procedures after service.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen, Stores, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and safety standards.
- Assist with staff training, grooming, and performance monitoring.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain required operational records and reports.
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations.
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience preferred.
- Valuable communication and guest-handling skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Knowledge of F&B; service standards and hygiene practices.
- Positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Well-groomed and customer-oriented personality.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hotel Management qualification is preferred.
