Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Professor in Chemistry to join our academic faculty. The successful candidate will engage in high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, conduct innovative research, mentor students, and contribute to the growth and service of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Teaching & Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and workshops in core chemistry disciplines (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, or Analytical Chemistry). Design and update course curricula, syllabi, and lab manuals in alignment with modern scientific standards.
- Research & Publications: Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and apply for research grants from national or international funding bodies.
- Laboratory Management & Safety: Oversee chemical inventory, enforce lab safety protocols, ensure proper hazardous waste disposal, and maintain analytical instrumentation.
- Mentorship & Advising:



Guide undergraduate and graduate students through academic counseling, research projects, thesis work, and career planning.
- Institutional & Departmental Service: Participate in faculty committees, institutional accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC/NBA), conferences, and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) and Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related specialization from a recognized university.
- Eligibility Exams: Qualified UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / SLET / SET (where required by institutional or regional standards).
- Experience: Teaching experience at the college/university level or post-doctoral research experience is highly desirable.
- Skills: Expertise in contemporary chemical instrumentation (e.g., NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR), strong research/publication record, and excellent communication and pedagogical skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
