We are looking for a qualified and passionate Assistant Professor in Information Technology to teach students enrolled in M.Sc. IT and related postgraduate IT programs. The candidate should possess strong academic knowledge, teaching capabilities, research orientation, and practical understanding of emerging technologies.

The candidate must have completed a Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a closely related discipline and should be capable of teaching postgraduate-level IT subjects.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach theoretical and practical subjects for M.Sc. IT students.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, assignments, and academic activities.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, presentations, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Guide students in projects, dissertations, research work, and technical presentations.
- Evaluate assignments, examinations, practical work, and student projects.
- Mentor students regarding academics, research, career development, and higher studies.
- Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision based on current industry requirements.
- Integrate emerging technologies, practical applications, case studies, and industry-oriented learning into teaching.
- Conduct and publish research in reputed journals and conferences.
- Participate in FDPs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and academic development activities.
- Support accreditation, documentation, examination, and other departmental/university academic activities.
- Contribute to departmental research, innovation, student development, and placement initiatives.
- Collaborate with industry experts and academic institutions for workshops, guest lectures, research, and student projects.

Required Qualification
- Ph.D.



in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Applications or a relevant IT specialization – Mandatory.
- Master's degree such as M.Sc. IT / M.Sc. Computer Science / MCA / M.Tech. / equivalent relevant qualification.
- Strong academic background and subject knowledge.
- Qualifications should meet applicable university/regulatory norms.

Experience
- Prior teaching experience at University / College / Higher Education level will be preferred.
- Experience teaching M.Sc. IT, MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. IT, BCA, or similar programs will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant industry and research experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
