–Asst. Manager Production

Key Responsibilities

Support the commissioning, start-up, stabilization, and ramp-up of the new expansion plant, including the Extrusion Line, Candy Line, and other state-of-the-art production lines.

Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day shift operations after commissioning and achieve planned production targets.

Plan and execute production activities in line with shift targets, production plans, and business requirements.

Effectively manage manpower, material availability, equipment utilization, and overall shift operations.

Monitor Extrusion Line performance, OEE, efficiency, yield, productivity, and material variance, and take corrective actions wherever required.

Monitor and optimize process parameters to ensure consistent product quality, productivity, and process stability.

Support machine trials, process trials, NPD activities, and stabilization of current and upgraded production lines.

Coordinate closely with Engineering, QA, PPC, R&D;, Maintenance,



and other cross-functional teams for smooth plant start-up and ongoing operations.

Ensure timely and accurate SAP entries, production records, shift reports, process data, and shift handovers.

Ensure strict compliance with quality, food safety, hygiene, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.

Identify process losses, bottlenecks, downtime, material losses, and operational gaps, and implement corrective actions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, optimize manpower, and enhance process reliability.

Ensure effective troubleshooting and timely resolution of production-related issues to minimize downtime and production losses.

Support the development of standard operating practices, process controls, and operational discipline during plant stabilization.

Contribute to building a high-performance production team capable of independently operating and managing the new-generation production lines.
