About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, empathetic and energetic Assistant Manager – Wellbeing to enhance the overall quality of life and resident experience at our senior living community in Gurgaon / Sohna.

The role will focus on planning and delivering wellbeing programmes, recreational activities, events and engagement initiatives designed specifically for senior citizens. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with elderly residents, understanding their individual preferences, encouraging participation and creating a warm, active and socially connected community environment.

The role requires a combination of people skills, event management, programme coordination, creativity and understanding of senior wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities1. Resident Wellbeing & Engagement

- Develop and implement regular wellbeing and engagement programmes for senior citizens.
- Understand individual resident preferences, interests, hobbies and participation patterns.
- Maintain regular interaction with residents and identify their needs, interests and areas of engagement.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, physical and cultural activities.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment where residents feel valued, heard and connected.
- Take feedback from residents and continuously improve programmes based on their preferences.

1. Wellbeing Programmes

- Plan and coordinate activities focusing on physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing.
- Organize yoga, meditation, relaxation, breathing exercises and other wellness sessions.
- Coordinate indoor and outdoor sports and recreational activities suitable for senior citizens.
- Develop activities such as:
- Yoga & stretching
- Meditation and mindfulness
- Light fitness activities
- Indoor games
- Outdoor recreational activities
- Music and dance sessions
- Art & craft
- Movie / entertainment sessions
- Quiz and knowledge sessions
- Social gatherings
- Festival celebrations
- Birthday and anniversary celebrations
- Hobby clubs
- Cultural programmes

1. Event Management

- Plan and execute resident events,



celebrations and community activities from concept to completion.
- Prepare monthly activity and event calendars.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external trainers, artists, vendors and service providers.
- Manage event logistics, schedules, venue arrangements and resident participation.
- Ensure activities are conducted safely, smoothly and professionally.
- Introduce new and innovative activities to keep residents engaged.

1. Resident Preferences & Feedback

- Develop a strong understanding of resident preferences and interests.
- Maintain records of resident participation, feedback and activity preferences.
- Conduct periodic resident feedback sessions and informal interactions.
- Identify residents who may need additional engagement or encouragement.
- Work closely with the Resident Experience / Community Management team to address wellbeing-related concerns.

1. Yoga, Sports & Recreation

- Conduct or coordinate basic yoga, stretching and wellness sessions, where appropriately qualified.
- Organize age-appropriate sports and recreational activities.
- Encourage residents to remain physically active within their individual capabilities.
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, trainers and other wellness professionals where required.
- Ensure activities are appropriate for senior citizens and are conducted with due attention to safety.

1. Community Building

- Build a strong sense of community among residents.
- Encourage resident-led clubs, interest groups and peer engagement.
- Create opportunities for residents to interact, socialize and develop meaningful connections.
- Encourage participation in celebrations, cultural events and community initiatives.
- Promote a vibrant, positive and emotionally supportive community environment.

1. Coordination & Reporting

- Prepare monthly wellbeing and activity calendars.
- Track participation and engagement levels.
- Maintain records of events, activities, resident feedback and programme outcomes.
- Prepare periodic reports for management.
- Monitor activity budgets and coordinate vendor/service requirements.
- Work closely with Operations, Nursing, Housekeeping,



Food & Beverage, Security and other departments to ensure smooth execution of programmes.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in wellbeing, senior living, community engagement, event management, recreation, hospitality, healthcare or a related field.
- Graduate degree in any relevant discipline.
- Psychology background will be preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in Yoga, wellness, sports or recreational activities will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A warm, patient and empathetic approach towards senior citizens.
- Ability to interact comfortably with elderly residents and build trust-based relationships.
- Valuable event planning and coordination skills.
- Creative approach towards designing activities and engagement programmes.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and events simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office / Excel.
- Ability to work flexible hours during resident events and special programmes.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with senior citizens, understands that wellbeing is more than just physical fitness, and can create meaningful experiences through activities, conversations, events, yoga, recreation, social interaction and personalized engagement. A candidate with a Psychology background + Yoga/Wellness knowledge + Event/Activity Management experience would be particularly suitable for this position.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
