Role Description The Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end supply strategy, ensuring optimal rider and vehicle availability across all cities. This role focuses on scaling operations, improving utilization, managing costs, and building a strong, reliable supply ecosystem aligned with EV91’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- 1. Supply Planning & Strategy Develop and execute city-wise and client-wise supply strategies
- Plan short-term and long-term supply based on demand forecasts
- Ensure optimal deployment of EV vehicles and riders across locations
- 2. Rider & Fleet Management Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention of riders
- Improve rider productivity, utilization, and engagement
- Ensure high uptime of EV fleet and proper allocation
- 3. Operations Excellence Monitor daily operations and ensure SLA adherence
- Optimize supply-demand balance across all active cities
- Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans
- 4. Cost & P&L; Ownership Own supply-side cost metrics and profitability
- Optimize cost per delivery / cost per rider
- Drive initiatives to improve margins and operational efficiency
- 5. Stakeholder Management Coordinate with clients (Flipkart, Zepto, Blinkit, etc.) for demand planning




- Work closely with internal teams (HR, Finance, Ops)
- Manage vendor partnerships (fleet providers, staffing partners)
- 6. Expansion & Scalability Lead supply expansion across new cities and clients.
- Build scalable processes for month on month growth in riders count across all the clients.
- Ensure readiness for peak demand (BBD sales, seasonal spikes, festival peaks)
- 7. Performance & Team Management Track KPIs: active riders, utilization %, reliability, cost metrics
- Use data-driven insights to improve performance
- Publish weekly/monthly dashboards and reviews
- Monitoring the performance of recruiters
- Ensuring the consistency in the revenue generation from each recruiters.
- Recruiters ownership on client side.

Key Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience in operations / supply chain / logistics (preferably)
- Strong experience in last-mile delivery or mobility (EV preferred)
- Proven experience in managing large-scale rider or fleet operations
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in P&L; management and cost optimization
- Ability to handle multi-city operations and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with e-commerce or quick commerce companies
- Prior exposure to EV ecosystem or mobility startups
- Preference will be given to candidates from a logistics background.
