About the Role

One of our clients, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing and wire harness sector, is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager PCBA & Wire Harness to join their team at Shirwal, Maharashtra.

The position will be responsible for managing strategic sourcing for PCBA and wire harness components. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of components, excellent supplier management capabilities and hands-on experience in costing, negotiation, alternate sourcing and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead sourcing and procurement activities for PCBA, wire harness and related components.
- Develop and maintain a strong supplier base through supplier identification, evaluation, development and performance monitoring.
- Handle both domestic and international sourcing of components.
- Identify suitable alternate components and alternate suppliers to improve supply continuity and reduce cost.
- Review MRP requirements and initiate procurement actions based on business requirements.
- Float RFQs, analyse quotations, conduct commercial negotiations and finalize suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, technical capability and capacity.
- Manage the complete Purchase Order process, including review, approval and supplier communication.
- Track supplier performance with focus on OTD, quality, responsiveness and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate supplier audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Drive cost reduction, VA/VE, localization and alternate source development initiatives.




- Conduct supplier meetings for commercial, quality, delivery and contractual matters.
- Build long-term and effective relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, PPC, Logistics and Finance for smooth material availability.
- Manage supplier-related commercial and quality claims and ensure timely resolution.
- Support procurement strategies aligned with cost, quality, delivery and inventory objectives.

Candidate Profile
- 59 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement.
- Candidates with experience in Wire Harness, PCBA, EMS, Electronics Manufacturing or Automotive Components will be preferred.
- Solid understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical and wire harness components.
- Experience in supplier development, costing, negotiation and cost reduction is essential.
- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and procurement processes.
- Strong commercial and analytical abilities with effective communication skills.

Education Graduate / Diploma / Engineering qualification in Electronics and Electrical discipline will be preferred.

Diploma / MBA in Supply chain management will be added advantage.

Travel The role may involve local supplier visits and occasional outstation travel depending on business requirements.
