Role & responsibilities

EV Bus R&D;

- Support R&D; activities related to electric bus design, development, validation, and improvement.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and suppliers for product development.
- Identify technical issues and provide suitable engineering solutions.
- Support prototype development, testing, trials, and design modifications.
- Analyse field issues and provide inputs for product improvement and reliability enhancement.
- Evaluate recent technologies, components, and systems applicable to electric buses.

Bus Body Quality

- Monitor and ensure bus body build quality, fitment, finishing, and structural integrity.
- Conduct quality inspections and identify defects related to body structure, panels, welding, fit & finish, and interiors.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams and vendors for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive RCA, CAPA, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Monitor recurring quality issues and implement preventive measures.





Bus Maintenance & Reliability

- Plan and monitor EV bus preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Diagnose technical issues and coordinate with service ( QRT)
- Analyse breakdown trends and identify opportunities to improve vehicle availability and reliability.
- Support maintenance planning for major EV bus systems, including electrical, mechanical, and body-related systems.
- Develop and improve maintenance procedures, checklists, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and service partners for technical issue resolution.
