We are looking for a Assistant Quality Manager who can build and maintain a strong quality culture and ensure that our products consistently meet the requirements of international customers and globally accepted quality standards.

Role Overview To lead quality assurance and quality control for sheet metal fabrication and machined components, ensuring consistent product quality, process capability, documentation and customer compliance.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with international customers and high-reliability industries, including:

- EV / electric mobility
- Industrial technology

What You Will Do

- Drive a strong zero-defect and right-first-time culture.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of fabricated components, sheet metal assemblies, and powder-coated parts
- Develop appropriate control plans, inspection checklists and sampling plans.(ITP, NCR, CAPA)as per QMS
- Perform dimensional checks using vernier calipers, micrometers, CMM fixtures, welding gauges and Surface roughness measurement
- Strong understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, surface finish and geometric requirements.
- Monitor and improve powder coating process parameters — pre-treatment, film thickness, adhesion, and gloss
- Understand and implement customer-specific quality requirements
- Maintain ISO 9001 documentation, calibration records, and support internal and external audits
- Track quality KPIs and prepare weekly dashboards for management review




- Liaise with procurement on incoming material inspection and supplier quality issues
- Work closely with engineering and production during NPI / prototype / pilot production.

Must have:
- Diploma/BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or precision machining is essential.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems
- Practical Exposure to 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, Pareto Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, CAPA, SPC, MSA/Gauge R&R;, FMEA, Control Plans, and First Article Inspection (FAI)

GOOD TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience in CNC Machining, CNC Turning & Milling, Laser Cutting, CNC Press Brake, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Surface Finishing, and Assembly Processes.
- Ability to understand process requirements, identify quality risks, monitor process parameters, and ensure compliance with defined specifications and standards.
- Analytical and systematic in problem solving
- Strong in engineering drawing interpretation
- Basic CAD reading ability (SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
- Capable of building a quality-first manufacturing culture
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and IATF 16949 practices will be an advantage, particularly for EV customers.
