Role Description The Assistant Manager E-Commerce is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day online marketplace operations, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory coordination across platforms. The role involves monitoring sales performance, analyzing customer behavior and campaign results, and recommending actions to improve conversion and order value.

The Assistant

Manager E-Commerce will handle vendor and platform negotiations, ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and service issues, and collaborate with sales,



marketing, and supply chain teams to support growth targets. Regular tasks include updating reports, coordinating with internal stakeholders, supporting promotional campaigns, and maintaining a consistent brand experience across all e-commerce channels.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Business Negotiation and Sales skills to manage platform dealings, drive revenue, and support commercial growth.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and optimize e-commerce strategies.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Relevant experience in e-commerce operations, online marketplaces, or FMCG/food brands is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with proficiency in MS Excel or other analytics tools, will be advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail is preferred.
