Role & responsibilities

- Drive and sustain 5S implementation across plant areas and achieve Green Zone targets.

- Conduct 5S audits, safety inspections and line walks; identify gaps and ensure timely closure.

- Lead HIRA & risk assessments and implement appropriate risk-control measures.

- Monitor incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions; support RCA and preventive actions.

- Ensure PPE compliance and safety discipline across the shopfloor.

- Audit fire & emergency safety equipment and support emergency preparedness/drills.

- Plan and conduct 5S & Safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs.

- Drive Kaizen, employee suggestions and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain action trackers and ensure corrective actions are closed with effectiveness verification.

- Prepare 5S & Safety MIS, analyze trends and present key risks and improvement status to management.

Preferred candidate profile

- 510 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.

- Robust exposure to 5S, Safety, HIRA, Audits, Incident Management and Continuous Improvement.

- Experience in textile, technical textile, engineering or process industries will be an advantage.
