Role Description The Assistant Food and Beverage Faculty will support teaching and training in food and beverage operations, service standards, and hospitality practices for students enrolled in hotel management programs. This full-time, on-site role in Salcette involves delivering classroom sessions, assisting with practical training in food service and beverage management, and demonstrating best practices in customer interaction and hospitality etiquette. The role includes preparing instructional materials, evaluating student performance, mentoring learners,
and contributing to curriculum development with the senior faculty team.

Food and Beverage Faculty will also help organize workshops, events, and industry interactions to enhance students’ exposure to current trends in food and beverage. Collaboration with colleagues and adherence to institutional academic standards and safety protocols are integral to this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage knowledge, including restaurant operations and service workflows.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to guide students in guest interaction and skilled behavior.
- Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills and practical understanding of menu items, preparation methods, and kitchen-service coordination.
- Relevant academic qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field; a diploma or degree in hospitality is preferred.
- Prior teaching, training, or industry experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in hotels, resorts, or hospitality institutes.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in managing academic schedules, and commitment to student-centered learning.
- Comfort working in a diverse, multicultural academic environment and willingness to participate in institutional events and initiatives.
