This position will support Project Execution by commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing of electrical products / equipment delivered to Customers in office. The individual shall be involved during factory commissioning and testing activities of the equipment prior to delivery. This position creates value by performing on-time engagements to the Voice of Customers, thus helping the company to meet the Customer Experience and goals.
Key Responsibilities: -
Identify, troubleshoot, and repair of electrical and electronic issues on equipment delivered to customers on-site.
Interpret and work with electrical circuit diagrams; knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits will be an added advantage.
Involvement during Factory commissioning and testing of equipment prior to delivery.
Maintain Service logs and reports, documenting issues and resolutions.
Identify potential issues related to design, if any, faced during commissioning and testing w.r.t. practical implementations at site, and reporting to Design Team with recommendations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall lead time for commissioning, testing and Customer Experience.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards towards personal and material safeties during execution work at site.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support operational priorities.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
Maintain record of spares inventory consumed during on-site services, timely intimations and follow-ups to Project Execution Teams for replenishment of consumed spares.
Personality traits / Competencies:
Ability to interpret Electrical circuit drawings of equipment and understand functionalities of individual circuits.
Hands-on experience on PLC Modules, PLC programming, debugging, VFD settings and configurations.
Knowledge of various field instrumentation used for process controls.
Knowledge or ability to learn of high-level programming language.
Strong written and spoken English and presentation skills.
Strong work ethic, high energy level, motivation, and enthusiasm.
Competent with MS-Office and MS-Excel.
Willingness to learn and adapt to work on new technologies.
