Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech).
- Minimum 68 years of relevant experience in Fire & Safety Items, Process Safety items procurement for API / Formulation industries, preferably in the Pharma, API, or Formulation manufacturing sector.
- Strong experience in supplier selection, vendor evaluation, and price negotiation.
- Good knowledge of new supplier development, source creation, and supplier identification.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, MS Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement timelines simultaneously.
- Solid analytical, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills to work effectively with internal project teams, vendors,



and finance teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate departmental activities and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships.
- Work closely with the Project Department to meet project priorities and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely supplier payments.
- Handle procurement activities for engineering and Fire & Safety Items, Process Safety items
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly purchase reports, and annual procurement presentations.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely material delivery as per project requirements.
- Support cost optimization through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
