Company Description Vector Finance Private Limited is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) registered with the Reserve Bank of India under section 45 IA of the RBI Act, 1934. Operating as a micro-finance institution, it focuses on providing income-generating loans to micro enterprises and underserved communities. Since beginning operations in January 2019 and receiving its NBFC license in July 2019, the company has expanded to more than 101 branches across 51 districts in 6 states.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office Assistant Branch Manager role based in West Bengal, India.
The Assistant Branch
Manager will support overall branch operations, including supervising daily loan processing, customer onboarding, documentation, and collections activities. The role involves guiding and monitoring field and branch staff, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and microfinance best practices. The individual will help drive business growth by identifying potential customer segments,
building local relationships, and meeting portfolio quality and growth targets. The role also includes preparing branch reports, tracking key performance indicators, resolving customer concerns, and coordinating closely with regional and head office teams.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, NBFC practices, and basic lending principles.
- Experience in branch management or team leadership within financial services or related sectors.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management, local market outreach, and community engagement.
- Skills in data handling, basic financial analysis, and reporting using common office software tools.
- Ability to supervise field activities, manage collections, and maintain portfolio quality.
- Effective communication skills in English and relevant local languages of West Bengal.
- Minimum of a graduate degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Comfort working in semi-urban and rural environments, with readiness to travel within the branch’s operational area.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to financial inclusion and customer-centric service.
