Job Purpose The Artificial Intelligence Manager will lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions across design, merchandising, production, inventory, sales, e-commerce, customer analytics and business operations at Orlin Apparel Private Limited.

The role will focus on using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, predictive analytics and automation to improve productivity, reduce costs, support decision-making and strengthen the company's competitive position in the women’s apparel and ethnic-wear business.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Strategy & Implementation

- Develop and execute the company's AI and automation roadmap.
- Identify business processes where AI can improve efficiency and profitability.
- Lead AI-based digital transformation projects across departments.
- Evaluate current AI tools, technologies and platforms for business applications.
- Work closely with management to identify high-impact AI opportunities.

2. Fashion & Product Development

- Implement AI solutions for fashion trend forecasting and market analysis.
- Use AI to analyse customer preferences, colours, prints, fabrics and styles.




- Explore AI-based design generation for women's dresses, kurtis and ethnic wear .
- Support designers with AI tools for mood boards, design concepts and product inspiration.
- Analyse historical sales data to identify high-performing designs and product categories.

3. Demand Forecasting & Planning

- Develop AI/ML models for demand forecasting.
- Predict product-wise, style-wise and category-wise demand.
- Analyse seasonal trends, customer behaviour and historical sales.
- Support production and merchandising teams in planning quantities.
- Reduce overproduction, stock-outs and dead stock through predictive analytics.

4. Inventory & Supply Chain

- Develop AI-based inventory forecasting and replenishment systems.
- Predict slow-moving and fast-moving products.
- Identify potential stock-out situations in advance.
- Optimise raw material and finished-goods inventory.
- Use AI for supplier performance and procurement analysis.

5. Production & Quality

- Identify opportunities for AI-based production monitoring and automation.
- Analyse production efficiency, rejection, alteration and rework data.
- Develop predictive models for production delays and bottlenecks.
- Explore computer vision applications for garment quality inspection.




- Support production teams with data-driven performance insights.

6. E-Commerce & Sales Analytics

- Develop AI-based customer segmentation and recommendation systems.
- Analyse customer purchasing behaviour and product preferences.
- Support personalised product recommendations.
- Use AI for sales forecasting and campaign performance analysis.
- Analyse online reviews, customer feedback and return reasons.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer retention.

7. Generative AI & Automation

- Implement Generative AI solutions for business productivity.
- Automate repetitive reporting, documentation and data-analysis tasks.
- Explore AI chatbots and internal AI assistants for employees.
- Use AI for content generation, product descriptions and marketing support.
- Develop AI workflows integrated with existing business systems.

8. Data Management & Analytics

- Ensure accurate and reliable data is available for AI models.
- Work with MIS, IT, Accounts, HR, Sales, Production and Merchandising teams.
- Develop dashboards and predictive reports for management.
- Establish data-quality and data-governance practices.
- Convert business data into actionable insights.

9. Team Management

- Lead and mentor AI/ML, Data Science and automation team members.
- Define project objectives, timelines and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with external AI vendors and technology partners.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on AI tools.
- Build a culture of data-driven decision-making.
