- Strong backend fundamentals : Node.js / TypeScript preferred, Python acceptable.
- Comfortable building and calling REST APIs, and working with at least one database (MongoDB, or any SQL).
- Git and able to read someone else's code without hand-holding.
Positive to have : Not Essential
- Has used an LLM API (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter) in a college or personal project.
- React or any frontend basics.
- Any cloud exposure: Azure preferred, AWS/GCP .
