Role Description The Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons that foster creativity, technical skill, and artistic confidence.

Responsibilities include planning daily lessons, preparing materials, teaching painting and other art techniques, guiding students through projects, and providing constructive feedback on their work.

The Art

Teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, maintain a safe and organized studio environment, and communicate regularly with students and caregivers about progress. This is a full time,



on-site role based at Excelia Art Academy in Bengaluru, requiring consistent classroom presence and active participation in academy events and exhibitions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create structured, progressive art learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess Teaching and Art Education skills to effectively instruct diverse learners and adapt methods to different age groups and abilities.
- Candidates should possess practical Painting skills and a solid foundation in visual art techniques to demonstrate and guide students in studio work.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field are preferred.
- Additional beneficial skills include classroom management, clear communication, patience, and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Prior experience teaching art in schools, academies, or workshops, and a portfolio showcasing personal artwork or student outcomes will be an advantage.
