Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to develop and manage sales activities within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing dealer and distributor networks, generating new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and project clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage sales and business development activities for pipes, pumps, valves, and related products.
- Identify and develop new dealers, distributors, channel partners, contractors, and institutional customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, consultants, OEMs, EPC contractors, and end customers.
- Conduct regular market visits and identify new business and project opportunities.
- Generate leads through dealer networks, customer visits, references, project enquiries, and market research.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pipe/pump solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, techno-commercial proposals, tenders, and sales orders.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions within company guidelines.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Expand market presence and increase the company's market share within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate with technical, service, production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Follow up on deliveries, installations, commissioning, service requirements, and customer complaints.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from dealers and customers.
- Conduct product presentations, dealer meetings, customer demonstrations, and technical discussions.




- Train and support dealers and sales team members regarding product applications and specifications.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, customer databases, sales pipelines, forecasts, and MIS.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Pipe / Pump / Valve / Fluid Handling / Industrial Equipment Sales.
- Good knowledge of dealer and distributor management.
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
- Experience in project sales and institutional sales will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of technical products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship and market development skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant sales experience in the pipe, pump, valve, or industrial equipment industry may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
