Job Summary The Area Business Manager (ABM) will lead and drive business growth for the Cardio-Diabetic division within the assigned area through effective area-level strategy execution, team leadership, and key account management.

The role is critical for maximizing performance through an experienced team of Medical Representatives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Business Strategy & Growth

- Drive sales growth and achieve primary and secondary sales targets in the assigned area.
- Lead and grow the existing Cardio-Diabetic business at the area level.
- Translate national and regional marketing strategies into effective area-level execution plans.
- Analyze area performance trends and implement timely corrective actions.

2. Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives reporting into the role.
- Conduct joint field work, regular reviews, and performance coaching to maximize productivity.
- Ensure optimal coverage, call frequency, and quality of execution across the area.




- Build and sustain a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values.

3. KOL & Key Account Management

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with key doctors and opinion leaders in the area.
- Support the team in managing key accounts and critical customers.
- Strengthen brand visibility and prescription generation for Cardio-Diabetic products.

4. Market Execution & Compliance

- Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and brand strategies.
- Track competitor activity and market dynamics; provide actionable market intelligence.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, ethical guidelines, and compliance norms.

5. Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination

- Review and track area-level MIS, sales dashboards, and KPIs.
- Coordinate with marketing and other internal stakeholders for seamless execution.
- Provide regular feedback to the Reporting Manager on product performance, team capability, and market opportunities.
