EDUCATION: Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design. Architectural qualification preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Casa Exotique is looking for an Architectural Draftsman with strong experience in interior architecture and design documentation.

This is not a basic CAD drafting position.

The candidate must understand architecture, interior architecture, design intent, construction detailing, materials and execution and be capable of converting design concepts into accurate, coordinated and buildable drawings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

01 — INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE DOCUMENTATION

Develop complete technical drawing packages for interior projects, including:

- Furniture layouts
- Flooring layouts
- RCP / ceiling plans
- Electrical coordination drawings
- Lighting layouts
- Wall elevations
- Internal elevations
- Sections
- Door schedules
- Finish layouts
- Material layouts
- Joinery layouts
- Kitchen drawings
- Wardrobe drawings
- Bathroom drawings
- Staircase details
- Feature wall details
- Architectural details

Drawings must be accurate, coordinated and ready for execution.

02 — DETAILED CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS

Prepare detailed drawings that clearly communicate:

- Dimensions
- Levels
- Material specifications
- Construction methods
- Junction details
- Fixing details
- Edge conditions
- Profiles
- Hardware
- Joinery details
- Ceiling details
- Flooring transitions
- Wall/ceiling junctions




- Material interfaces The draftsman must understand how the detail will actually be constructed, not simply reproduce a design.

03 — DESIGN UNDERSTANDING The candidate must understand the design intent behind the drawing.

They should be able to:

- Read design concepts and moodboards.
- Understand plans, sections and elevations.
- Interpret 3D views and design presentations.
- Translate design intent into technical drawings.
- Identify when a design cannot be practically executed.
- Suggest technically appropriate detailing solutions.
- Maintain design proportions and aesthetics while developing details.

04 — DRAWING COORDINATION

Coordinate drawings across: Architecture, Interior architecture, Furniture, Joinery, Lighting, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Structural elements, Specialist vendors

Identify clashes and inconsistencies before drawings are issued.

Ensure all drawings are based on the latest approved design and dimensions.

05 — JOINERY & BESPOKE DETAILS

Strong understanding of detailed joinery is required.

Prepare drawings for

Wardrobes, Kitchens, TV units, Libraries, Bar units, Vanities, Consoles, Panelling, Doors, Screens, Feature walls, Custom furniture, Architectural metalwork, Glass details





Drawings must include sufficient information for the vendor/contractor to execute accurately.

06 — MATERIAL & FINISH COORDINATION

- Understand material specifications and finish codes.
- Coordinate materials across drawings.
- Ensure correct material references are used.
- Coordinate stone, marble, veneer, wood, metal, glass, fabric and specialty finishes.
- Ensure material transitions and junctions are properly detailed.
- Coordinate finish schedules with drawings.

07 — SITE & EXECUTION SUPPORT

- Participate in site visits when required.
- Take and verify site measurements.
- Compare existing site conditions with drawings.
- Update drawings based on verified site conditions.
- Support the design team with technical clarifications.
- Review site execution against drawings where required.
- Identify drawing-related execution issues.

08 — REVISION & DOCUMENT CONTROL

- Maintain drawing registers.
- Follow strict revision numbering.
- Update revision clouds and notes.
- Ensure superseded drawings are clearly controlled.
- Maintain organised project folders.
- Ensure only approved drawings are issued for execution.

Drawing discipline is critical.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY: Convert Casa Exotique’s design intent into exact, coordinated and buildable interior architecture drawings — with the level of detail required to execute luxury projects correctly.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
