Position - Architect

Location: Vile Parle (East), Mumbai

About the Role

Studio SB is looking for Junior and Senior Architects to join our team and contribute to the design and execution of architectural projects, with a strong focus on high-rise residential and commercial developments.

The role involves design development, working drawings, client and consultant coordination, site involvement, and project execution. Depending on experience, senior candidates may also take responsibility for project leadership, team coordination, and mentoring junior architects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead or assist in architectural projects from concept design through execution, particularly high-rise residential and commercial projects.
- Develop and prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, construction documents, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare and review drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, structural/MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure execution is aligned with the approved design intent.
- Review drawings, specifications, materials, and construction details.
- Assist with client presentations, design proposals, and incorporating client feedback.
- Coordinate project documentation and support project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Develop practical, innovative, and sustainable design solutions.
- For senior roles: lead projects, coordinate project teams, manage deliverables, and mentor junior architects.

RequirementsJunior Architect
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 5+ years of relevant architectural experience.
- Experience or exposure to high-rise residential and/or commercial projects is preferred.




- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Good understanding of architectural design, construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Ability to prepare and interpret working and construction drawings.
- Strong communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to participate in site visits and project execution.

Senior Architect
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects is required.
- Proven experience in design development, working drawings, architectural detailing, consultant coordination, and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to independently manage projects and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Strong understanding of high-rise construction, materials, building regulations, architectural detailing, and construction documentation.
- Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior architects will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills The following will be an advantage but are not mandatory:

- Experience with sustainable design practices / LEED.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows or parametric design.
- Solid architectural portfolio demonstrating both design and technical capabilities.
- Experience with large-scale high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
