Role Overview The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of residential and real estate projects by coordinating with consultants, reviewing drawings, preparing design documentation, and ensuring seamless project flow. The role requires strong design sense, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality architectural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Track, follow up, and obtain timely drawing deliveries from consultants; verify against other drawings and issue to projects with GFC approval.
- Coordinate with consultants (architectural, structural, and services) to ensure seamless flow of drawings for execution.
- Identify new design items not covered in initial concepts; coordinate with stakeholders for techno-commercial approvals before issuing GFC.
- Review and vet shop drawings submitted by various agencies.
- Conduct periodic site inspections, verify execution against GFC drawings, and prepare inspection reports.
- Research, program, plan, and design building projects in line with organizational and client requirements.
- Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and construction documents using CAD/Revit and other design software.
- Assist in the integration of engineering elements into unified design for approvals.
- Support Project Managers and Directors in managing design deliverables, reports, and client presentations.
- Assist in research and coordination of materials, products, and specifications.

- Accurate vetting of shop drawings from agencies.

Skills & Competencies:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong design, visualization, and detailing skills.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
- Exposure to sustainable design/LEED will be an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile Education: B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 5-9 years of skilled experience in architectural firms, with exposure to real estate/residential projects (high-rise apartments, plotted developments required).

Competencies Required:

- Design coordination and design review.
- Review of consultants’ drawings and value addition.
- Ability to identify design gaps and propose proactive solutions.
- Site inspection and verification against GFC (Good for Construction) drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, construction procedures, and architectural detailing.
