Role Description The AR (Accounts Receivable) Caller is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing and following up on outstanding medical billing and insurance claims. The role involves making outbound calls to insurance companies and clients to resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and payment delays, while documenting all interactions accurately in the system.

The AR Caller reviews account statuses, verifies billing information, escalates complex issues to the appropriate teams, and works to ensure timely collection of receivables.



Daily activities include analyzing aging reports, coordinating with internal billing teams, maintaining professional communication, and meeting productivity and quality targets that support the organization’s revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review aging reports, interpret claim statuses, and identify root causes of denials or payment delays.
- Candidates should possess Finance-related knowledge to understand accounts receivable concepts, billing cycles, and basic medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle processes.
- Candidates should possess explicit and professional Communication skills to interact with insurance representatives, internal teams, and clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should possess Debt Collection and follow-up skills to manage overdue accounts, negotiate resolutions, and ensure timely payments.
- Candidates should possess Invoicing and documentation skills to verify billing details, update account records, and maintain accurate reports.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with U.S. healthcare terminology, experience in AR calling or medical billing, proficiency with MS Office and billing software, ability to work in shift-based environments, and a diploma or degree in commerce, finance, healthcare, or a related field.
