Manager Project Execution to lead the development and implementation of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and industrial automation solutions for its manufacturing and project operations. The role is responsible for converting production requirements into practical machine concepts, coordinating with automation partners, and ensuring successful equipment integration from design through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate manufacturing and process requirements into innovative machine concepts and automation solutions.
- Develop concepts for special-purpose machines, fixtures, tooling, and customized production equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, scope of supply, and functional requirement documents for vendors.
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and interface coordination with SPM and automation suppliers.
- Conduct automation feasibility studies and define mechanical, electrical, and control system integration requirements.
- Support equipment trials, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with Project Execution and Industrial Engineering teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Design application concepts for conveyors, pick-and-place systems, robotic handling, cutting/routing, dispensing, and packing automation.
- Support integration of sensors, vision systems, PLC-controlled equipment, robotics,
and material handling systems.
- Drive value engineering, cost optimization, and continuous technical improvement of machine concepts while ensuring safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or Mechatronics or Production, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SPM design, automation engineering, or manufacturing project execution.
- Experience in factory automation and customized equipment development is essential.
