Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Application Engineer role based in the Mohali district.

The Application

Engineer will support customers by understanding technical requirements, configuring and adapting tooling solutions, and providing application-focused guidance for engineering projects. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams, assisting in software-related configuration or integration, performing testing and validation of solutions, and troubleshooting issues at customer sites. The role involves preparing technical documentation, conducting product demonstrations, training users on implemented solutions, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective technical support.

Engineer is expected to maintain clear communication with customers and contribute to continuous improvement of application methodologies and tooling practices.

Qualifications

- Strong technical support skills, including diagnosing issues, resolving customer queries, and providing on-site technical assistance.
- Experience or familiarity with software development or software configuration for engineering applications.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to industrial equipment, tooling integration, and system interfaces.
- Hands-on mechanical engineering skills for understanding tooling design, installation, and practical application in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in testing, validation, and quality checks of engineered solutions, with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to work on-site in industrial environments.
- Prior experience in application engineering, tooling, or industrial automation is an advantage.
