Role Overview

We are looking for a 4-5 years experienced CAE Application Engineer with expertise in manufacturing simulation solutions, particularly Keysight Weld, Heat Treatment, SYSWELD, PAM-STAMP, and VA One. The role involves a combination of pre-sales technical consulting and post-sales implementation, training, and customer support across automotive, aerospace, defence, heavy engineering, and manufacturing industries.

The ideal candidate should have strong simulation fundamentals, customer-facing experience, and the ability to demonstrate and deploy advanced manufacturing simulation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Responsibilities

- Understand customer engineering challenges and propose suitable simulation solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, software demonstrations, and workflow discussions.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and benchmark studies.
- Support the sales team during technical evaluations and customer meetings.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution architecture documents, and response documents for RFIs/RFPs/Tenders.
- Work closely with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, Defence, Aerospace, and Manufacturing customers.

Post-Sales Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and validate software environments.
- Deliver customer onboarding, product training, and workflow workshops.
- Provide application support and troubleshooting for customer projects.
- Guide customers in model setup, solver execution, result interpretation, and best practices.
- Coordinate with global technical support teams for issue resolution.
- Develop technical documentation, example models, and application notes.

Preferred Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including welding, stamping, heat treatment, and structural dynamics.
- Experience working on commercial CAE software in customer projects.
- Knowledge of finite element methods and manufacturing simulation workflows.
