Responsibilities

API Platform Engineering

Design, develop, and manage enterprise-scale API solutions using Apigee and Azure API Management.

API Migration

Lead API migrations from Apigee to Azure APIM, including policy migration, automation, testing, and validation.

Self-Service Capabilities

Build self-service API onboarding and management solutions that improve developer productivity and platform adoption.

Infrastructure as Code

Develop Terraform solutions for API platform provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.

Automation Development

Create reusable automation frameworks for API deployment, policy management, environment provisioning, and operations.

CI/CD Engineering

Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines supporting automated API deployments and modern delivery practices.

API Security & Governance

Implement API security, traffic management, observability, monitoring, and governance standards across enterprise platforms.

Integration Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve complex API integration and platform issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Requirements

Relevant Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

API Engineering Experience

6–10 years of experience in API engineering, integration engineering, software engineering, or comparable technical roles.

Apigee Expertise

Hands-on experience designing, developing, managing, and supporting enterprise API solutions using Apigee.

Azure APIM Expertise

Hands-on experience with Azure API Management and its capabilities for API lifecycle and platform management.

Terraform Expertise





Strong practical expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, provisioning, automation, and platform lifecycle management.

API Modernization

Proven experience delivering API migration, modernization, automation, and platform transformation initiatives.

Software & Automation Skills

Strong software engineering fundamentals with programming experience in Node.js, Python, or C# and automation development.

API Security & CI/CD

Experience with GitHub Actions, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API security, and modern Git-based development workflows.
