Role Description The Ansys FEA Engineer will be responsible for performing finite element analysis (FEA) of offshore and marine structures using Ansys and related tools in a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. Day-to-day tasks include building and validating FEA models, conducting linear and nonlinear structural analyses, fatigue and strength assessments, and interpreting results to support design decisions for jackets, topsides, subsea components, and other offshore systems.





The role involves preparing technical reports, calculation packages, and documentation in line with industry standards and client requirements. The engineer will collaborate with structural, subsea, and project teams to optimize designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations. Participation in design reviews, support during fabrication and installation stages, and contribution to continuous improvement of analysis methodologies are also part of the role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in finite element analysis and structural engineering, including experience with Ansys (Classic/Workbench), stress analysis, fatigue assessment, and nonlinear simulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in offshore and marine engineering domains, such as knowledge of fixed and floating offshore structures, subsea systems, risers, moorings, and relevant design codes/standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV).
- Candidates should possess skills in technical communication, including transparent report writing, documentation of analysis methodologies, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to validate models, perform sensitivity checks, and propose practical design improvements based on FEA results.
- Experience 1-4 years in similar role
