About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated professional to join our Government Advisory / Public Sector Consulting team. The role involves supporting government stakeholders on initiatives related to governance, administrative reforms, public policy, citizen-centric service delivery and institutional improvement. The ideal candidate should have robust analytical and research capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience of working with Central or State Government departments, preferably in a consulting or PMU environment.
Key Responsibilities:
∙ Review, analyze and organize large volumes of information, inputs and submissions received from multiple stakeholders.
∙ Categorize and classify information based on relevant themes, sectors, subjects and priority areas.
∙ Identify key themes, issues, gaps, trends and potential areas for policy or administrative improvement.
∙ Analyze inputs and develop structured recommendations for consideration by relevant government stakeholders.
∙ Coordinate with government departments, sectoral stakeholders and other institutional partners for clarification, validation and follow-up.
∙ Prepare department-wise and theme-wise consolidated reports, presentations, briefs and other knowledge products.
∙ Review and validate outputs generated using AI-enabled tools to ensure accuracy, relevance and appropriate classification.
∙ Support stakeholder consultations, meetings and follow-up activities to facilitate timely action on identified issues.
∙ Undertake research and analysis on governance, public administration, public policy and administrative reforms.
∙ Provide analytical, documentation and coordination support for government-led initiatives and programs.
∙ Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, frameworks and workflows for efficient handling and analysis of stakeholder inputs.
Required Skills & Experience:
∙ 2+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in government consulting, PM or public-sector advisory roles.
∙ Experience of working with Central or State Government departments will be preferred. ∙ Good understanding of governance, public administration, public policy and administrative reforms.
∙ Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
∙ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∙ Strong research, documentation and report-writing capabilities.
∙ Ability to screen, filter, categorize and analyze large volumes of information. ∙ Ability to identify key themes, issues, gaps and opportunities for improvement from diverse inputs.
∙ Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for information analysis, classification and validation. ∙ Strong stakeholder management, coordination and follow-up skills, particularly with government stakeholders.
∙ Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with MIS, dashboards or data visualization tools will be an advantage.
Preferred Profile:
Candidates with prior experience in government consulting, public policy, administrative reforms, governance programs, PMUs, citizen-centric initiatives or institutional transformation projects will be preferred.
