About Foccus CNC Accessories

Foccus is a leading Indian brand of high-quality servo motors, servo drives and CNC controllers for machine tool builders. Our products are used on CNC lathes, turning centres, VMCs, HMCs, grinding machines, SPMs and retrofit projects across India. We are building our national OEM sales organisation and are hiring the person who will lead it.

The Role

We are looking for a experienced machine tool industry sales professional (712 years) who already sells to machine tool builders / CNC machine manufacturers in India and has solid personal relationships with their owners, purchase heads and design heads. You will approach OEMs across India, get Foccus servo motors, drives and controllers trialled and approved on their machines, and convert them into regular production customers through disciplined, persistent follow-up.

This is a hunter role with direct reporting to the Managing Director, fast decisions, and a clear path to National Sales Head as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Approach and develop machine tool builders (OEMs) across all Indian clusters Bengaluru (Peenya), Pune (Chakan, Bhosari), Rajkot, Coimbatore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi NCR, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Belgaum, Kolhapur.
- Sell Foccus servo motors, servo drives and CNC controllers for new machine production and retrofit / replacement business.
- Secure product trials, sample fitments and technical evaluations; convert them to approved-vendor status and repeat orders.
- Maintain a live pipeline of every OEM: contact, machines, current servo/controller supplier, volume, stage, next follow-up date.
- Follow up relentlessly by phone, WhatsApp, email and site visits until every enquiry, quote, sample and trial is closed won or lost.
- Understand OEM technical requirements (torque, RPM, encoder, axis count, drive rating, communication protocol, controller features)



and recommend the correct Foccus motor–drive–controller package.
- Coordinate with the Foccus application team for fitment, commissioning and parameter support during trials.
- Own the All India OEM sales target; prepare quarterly plans by region, customer and product line.
- Negotiate pricing, rate contracts, payment terms; ensure timely collections.
- Track competitor pricing, new OEM entrants, machine launches and export projects; represent Foccus at IMTEX and IMTMA events.
- As volumes grow, recruit and lead regional sales / application engineers.

Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)

- 7 to 12 years of B2B technical sales, with most of it selling to machine tool builders / CNC machine manufacturers in India.
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Have sold servo motors, servo drives, CNC controllers, spindle motors, VFDs, encoders, PLC/HMI, ball screws, LM guides, ATCs, turrets, chucks, hydraulics, lubrication/coolant systems, control panels or similar machine tool components to OEMs.
- Existing, active relationships with decision-makers at machine tool builders in at least 2–3 Indian clusters. You should be able to name the OEMs you have sold to.
- Track record of opening new OEM accounts and growing them to repeat business – with numbers.
- Strong follow-up discipline and comfort with long OEM approval cycles.
- Working knowledge of CNC axis drives, motion control and machine electricals.
- Willing to travel 15–20 days per month across India.
- Fluent in English and Hindi; Tamil, Kannada, Marathi or Gujarati is a plus.

Strongly Preferred

- Currently or previously with a servo / drive / CNC controller company or a machine tool component supplier selling into the Indian machine tool market.
- Experience introducing a new brand against established competitors.
- Retrofit and machine rebuild market exposure.
