Job Title: Laboratory Chemist, Quality

Position Summary The position is responsible for analysing the alcohol products, test raw materials, monitor fermentation and distillation, and verify the safety and alcohol strength of finished beverages.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform routine chemical and physicochemical analysis of wine and wine-based products.

· Analyze pH, acidity, alcohol, residual sugar, SO₂, volatile acidity, density, turbidity/NTU, dissolved oxygen, and other quality parameters.

· Conduct analysis of raw materials, wine, blends, syrups, additives, and finished products.

· Monitor wine stability, oxidation indicators, colour, clarity parameters.

· Perform laboratory trials for blending, dilution, flavour, colour, acid,



and additive adjustments.

· Support troubleshooting of quality issues such as haze, sediment, oxidation, colour changes, and off notes.

· Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration records, reagents, standards, and analytical documentation.

· Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare COA/test reports.

· Support production and quality teams during blending, filtration, carbonation, and bottling operations.

Qualifications

- BSC/ MSC Chemistry

Experience

- 2 - 3 years of experience required in similar role.
- Experience in Alco-bev industry is mandatory.
