TeklTalk is building an AI-powered chatbot designed to give website visitors accurate, trustworthy answers based on a website’s own content.

We are looking for an AI & Technology Researcher to explore current technologies, experiment with AI/LLM approaches, and help us improve how TeklTalk understands, retrieves, evaluates, and responds to information.

This is a hands-on research role where you won't just read papers or analyze existing models. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment, build prototypes, test ideas, analyze results, and see your research become part of a real product.

What you'll work on

- Research the latest developments in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, RAG, information retrieval, and conversational AI
- Experiment with different AI models, prompting techniques, retrieval methods, embeddings, and evaluation approaches
- Investigate ways to improve answer accuracy, relevance, reliability, and consistency
- Study and identify causes of AI hallucinations and explore ways to reduce them
- Design experiments and benchmarks to evaluate chatbot performance
- Analyze datasets and model outputs to identify patterns and areas for improvement
- Compare different AI models and technologies and determine where they can provide practical value
- Build small prototypes and proof-of-concepts to test new ideas
- Keep track of new AI tools, research papers, frameworks, and technologies
- Work closely with the engineering and product team to turn successful research into product improvements
- Document experiments, findings,



and recommendations clearly

What we're looking for
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technology
- Good understanding of machine learning, NLP, LLMs, or information retrieval
- Programming experience, preferably with Python
- Understanding of basic statistics, experimentation, and data analysis
- Ability to research technical topics and turn findings into practical experiments
- Curiosity and willingness to test ideas rather than simply follow existing approaches
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication

Experience or familiarity with

- LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- Vector databases and embeddings
- Prompt engineering
- NLP and semantic search
- AI evaluation and benchmarking
- Python AI/ML libraries
- LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
- Chatbots or conversational AI
- Knowledge bases and documentation systems
