Role Description The AI Security Cybersecurity Trainer role is a part time, remote, contract position focused on designing and delivering training related to AI security and broader cybersecurity domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing training curricula and materials, creating practical exercises and labs, and conducting live or virtual training sessions for learners at various experience levels.

The trainer will explain complex topics such as application, network, information, and AI security risks; demonstrate secure practices; and guide learners through real-world threat scenarios and mitigation strategies.

The role also involves assessing learner performance, updating content to reflect emerging threats and best practices, and collaborating with Cybervie’s cybersecurity experts to align training with industry standards and client needs.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core Cybersecurity concepts, including threat landscapes, risk management, and secure architectures.
- Expertise in Application Security, including secure coding principles, vulnerability identification, and mitigation techniques.
- Hands-on knowledge of Network Security,



covering network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
- Proficiency in Information Security, including access control, data protection, encryption, and compliance-oriented practices.
- Experience with Malware Analysis, including recognizing malware behaviors, basic reverse engineering, and incident response strategies.
- Practical understanding of AI/ML systems, AI-specific security risks (e.g., data poisoning, model theft), and secure deployment practices is highly beneficial.
- Proven experience delivering technical training or teaching complex cybersecurity topics to diverse audiences, preferably in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and create clear, engaging learning materials.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or specialized AI security certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
